CVS Donates Pharmacy Student Scholarship Award Funds

February 11, 2009 representatives from CVS came to present a $5,000
check to Dean Mangione to be used for pharmacy student
scholarships. The criteria for potential recipients are good
academic standing and a strong interest in community pharmacy
practice. Dean Robert Mangione and Dr. Joseph Brocavich, Associate
Dean for Pharmacy Programs, welcomed welcomed Tracey Hodurski,
R.Ph., (P’94) Manager of Professional and College Relations;
Domenica Lauterborn, R.Ph., (P’84) Pharmacy Supervisor; and Thomas
Frisco, Regional Intern Program Coordinator for Long Island. The
College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions is most grateful
to CVS for the funding which will be used to recognize the
achievements of deserving students.
