Alumni Go Out to the Ballgame

More than 40 St. John’s University alumni and friends gathered at the Riverfront Stadium in Newark, New Jersey to enjoy a game of the great American pastime on Tuesday, July 29. 

Alumni and their families had dinner and watched as the minor league baseball team Newark Bears took on the York Revolution.  They viewed all of the game’s action from the stadium’s Executive Party Deck, where they also feasted on a barbecue buffet. 

Attendees had a fun-filled evening and look forward to future events.  "My family and I had a wonderful time,” shared Louise Knapp, an employee on the Staten Island campus who attended the game with her family.  “The food was good, the night was perfect - what more can you ask for?"
