Good Times at the MBA Happy Hour
August 07, 2008
An intimate group of St. John’s MBA alumni gathered at the 79th
St Boat Basin in New York on Tuesday, July 15 to network with other
MBA alumni from some of the country’s leading Business schools
including the University of Michigan, UCLA and Harvard.
The third of five happy hour networking receptions this summer,
the sessions were designed by MBA Corp., a non-profit organization
that encourages MBAs to address societal issues such as poverty, to
give alumni holding MBA degrees a way to connect and develop their
business contacts in an informal setting.
Attendees appreciated the opportunity to network and gained much
from the experience. “I have attended several of these happy
hours throughout the years and I always find them valuable,” stated
Mark Ventimiglia ’81CBA, ’83MBA, alumnus and First Vice President
of The Tobin College of Business Alumni Association. “You
never know who you will meet both in alumni and others who can
improve your professional development.”
The next MBA Happy
Hour is scheduled for Tuesday, August 19.
