Annual “Friends Educators and Students Dinner” Hosted by St. John’s University’s School Of Risk Management In Bermuda

St. John’s University’s School of Risk Management (SRM), a division of the Peter J. Tobin College of Business, hosted its Seventh Annual “Gathering of Friends, Educators and Students Cocktail Reception and Dinner” on Wednesday, May 27th at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, Hamilton, Bermuda.

“We have close and long-standing partnerships with the corporate, education and government communities in Bermuda,” said Dr. Ellen Thrower, Executive Director, SRM, and former President of The College of Insurance. “This annual event provides us with the opportunity to thank our Bermuda friends and Alumni for their generosity over the years and to welcome our newest Bermudian students who are coming to St. John’s in the fall.”

Among the special guests attending this year’s event were: 

  • The Honorable Paula A. Cox JPMP, Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance
  • Dr. Ellen Thrower, Executive Director School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science, St. John’s University
  • Mr. Albert J. Beer, the Michael J. Kevany/XL Professor in Insurance and Actuarial Practice, St. John’s University
