Men’s Tennis Splits Play On Last Two Days Of Florida Trip

FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 15, 2009) – The St. John’s men’s tennis team ended its Spring Break trip by splitting play over the last two days. The Red Storm lost to Florida Atlantic, 5-2, on Saturday in a neutral-court showdown, but finished on a high note with a 6-1 win at Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday. STJ returns home with a 6-7 overall record and a 0-1 BIG EAST mark, while the FAU Owls improve to 11-4 and the FGCU Eagles fall to 2-7.
