• Distance Learning Offers Advance Degrees through Flexible Technology 9:00 AM Thinking of going back to school, but can’t find the time? Are you unable to meet the time restrictions of on-campus learning? The answer—Distance Learning—has only one prerequisite: must have computer!

• The School of Education Students Collaborate with the Lincoln Center Institute 9:00 AM Through a collaborative partnership with the Lincoln Center Institute (LCI), students in The School of Education have been taught how experiential investigations of the arts, specifically the performing and visual arts, can engage children in learning and support their development of a wide range of critical, analytic, and expressive skills.

• Mongolian Professors Visit St. John's for Historic Trip to USA 9:00 AM St. John’s Professor Jay Nathan (Peter J. Tobin School of Business and former Fulbright Scholar), welcomed two Mongolian academic scholars last month to the University’s Queens campus for a formal visit and tour during their month-long trip to colleges and universities all across the United States.

• St. John’s University Mourns the Passing of Pio Cardinal Laghi 12:00 PM St. John’s University mourns the passing of Pio Cardinal Laghi, Vatican Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for Catholic Education, who died in Rome on January 10, 2009. Cardinal Laghi was a valued friend and supporter of St. John’s and was particularly instrumental in the establishment of the University’s Rome Graduate Center.
