Tobin College of Business, feted Gregory C. Case, President & CEO of Aon Corporation, as the “2008 Insurance Leader of the Year” at its 14th Annual Award Dinner held at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.

• Maj. Gen. Joseph A. McNeil (Ret.) To Deliver Address During Founder’s Week 9:00 AM Joseph A. McNeil, LL.D. Hon. retired Major General in the Air Force Reserves and the Federal Aviation Administration, and an important figure in U.S. civil rights history is a featured speaker on Monday, January 26 during St. John’s 15th Annual Founder’s Week Celebration.

• Budding Artists Translate Founder’s Week Theme into Visual Art Projects 11:00 AM As in years past, students enrolled in Fine Arts Professor Joseph Adolphe’s “Anatomy & Figure Drawing I” course have again been challenged to translate St. John’s University’s Founder’s Week theme into visual art projects. The students, including both art and non-art majors, spent 6-8 weeks and more than 100 hours apiece creating their interpretations, which are now on exhibit in St. Augustine Library on the University’s Queens campus.
