• St. John’s Honors Public Relations Icon Howard Rubenstein With Caritas Medal at 50th Anniversary Gala 9:00 AM An “A list” of New York’s social elite gathered at The University Club in Manhattan to honor Public Relations icon Howard Rubenstein in celebrating the 50th year of his graduation from St. John’s University’s School of Law.

• St. John’s Pharmacists Assist in Collection and Disposal of Hazardous Household Waste 9:00 AM Pharmacists from St. John’s University recently volunteered at the Town of North Hempstead’s first-ever drop-off program for unused, unwanted or expired prescription or non-prescription drugs.

• Year End Convocation 9:00 AM On June 1, 2009 over 400 members of St. John’s University Community and their families attended the Year End Convocation on St. John’s Queens Campus.

• St. John’s Public Relations Students Give Back to Disadvantaged Mothers 9:00 AM The Public Relations students selected Momma’s House, a facility for young, unwed mothers who are continuing the education or vocational training interrupted by their pregnancy, as part of their Academic Service-Learning project.
