  St. John’s to Host 11th Annual “Breezy Big Band” Great Lawn Summer Concert in Queens 9:00 AM St. John’s Office of Community Relations presents “Breezy Big Band Summer” as part of its annual concert series highlighting the Queens Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday, July 29 at 7:00 p.m. on the University’s Great Lawn at its Queens campus.

• Students Break Ground for St. John’s University’s Latest Sustainability Project: a Student-Run Organic Garden 9:00 AM Students at St. John’s University recently broke ground on the Queens campus for a student community organic garden. The carefully planned 34 x 54 ft. site is the latest Sustainability project at St. John’s and represents another step in the University’s commitment to reduce carbon emissions released into the atmosphere.
