Gate #6 Closure - Queens Campus
Due to necessary work in connection with the new sidewalk
and drain project on 170th Street, Gate #6 located
on Goethals Avenue and 170th Street will be closed from Tuesday,
January 6, 2009 until Friday, January 9, 2009. This closure
includes both the pedestrian gate and the vehicle gate. Please use
any of the other Queens campus gates to enter or exit that
campus.
- Members of the University community who need to access the rear
of St. Albert Hall should use Gate #1 and drive around the campus
road past the Residence Village. The barriers in front of the
Residence Village will be removed during this phase of
construction.
170th Street Parking – Queens
Campus
Starting Wednesday, December 10, 2008 until January 22, 2009, the
University will be installing a sidewalk and new catch basins on
170th Street. There will be no parking on this street during the
construction, and access to the street will be limited at times
during the construction.
Members of the University community who normally use 170th Street
are asked to use either Goethals Avenue or Union Turnpike for
access to and egress from the campus.
