St. John’s Chapter of International Education Honor Society Wins Excellence Award

Kappa Eta, the St. John’s Queens campus chapter of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education recently won the Society’s 2007-2009 Achieving Chapter Excellence (ACE) award. The Executive Board and Counselors of the St. John’s Kappa Eta chapter will accept this award at Kappa Delta Pi’s 47th Biennial Convocation in Orlando, Florida on October 29 – 31, 2009.

Kappa Delta Pi chose the Kappa Eta chapter as one of the top 30 from among over 550 Kappa Delta Pi chapters worldwide to honor the chapter’s commitment to excellence in the areas of programming, recognition, service ideals, practices, inquiry, reflection, professional development, leadership development and retention. Since the ACE awards program’s inception in 1995, it has recognized Kappa Delta Pi chapters that exhibit outstanding programming in support of the Society’s mission and strategic goals.
