Kappa Gamma Pi is awarding the Cornaro Scholarship for Graduate
Studies. This scholarship is named after the noble Venetian,
Elena Lucrezia Cornaro Piscopia, the first woman to earn a doctoral
degree.
Kappa Gamma Pi will award a non-renewable $3,000 scholarship to
be applied as needed for graduate expenses at an accredited
college/university. The award money can be used for any
expense occurred in graduate study.
Applicants must have been elected to membership in Kappa Gamma
Pi by a Kappa affiliated college or university and have been
accepted for admission to a graduate or professional school.

Completed applications and all supporting documents (list of
honors, three brief essays, verification of acceptance by graduate
school, two letters of recommendation) must be postmarked or
submitted on-line by April 21, 2008. Notification of award
will be made by June 30, 2008.
